Today I try writing this entry in English without a dictionary to brush up my English, especially for the speaking ability. It may sound strange, but I use it whenever writing English and I can never look up words in a dictionary when speaking English.

So writing English without any help would be a good exercise for me to write and speak, too. I'm sure that practice is the best way, but anyway.

At first.. regarding the job offer come from Mumbai, as of now the offer is PUT ON HOLD. ..Naaahhh!

After having the offer, we had exchanged e-mails steadily for the agreement with details such as health insurance and accommodation etc. However, the response stopped suddenly, so a few days later I asked the situation.

According to the Human resource manager, they are currently re-structuring the xxx team (to which I would be assigned) and due to this exercise taking a while, my offer for employment is currently put on hold.
His reply made me so much laugh at the time. What a story It had been only for a couple of days since I got an offer from him.

He said that he should communicate to me at the earliest in the reply and it's last Thursday's midnight, and I have not received any additional information yet.

After taking some tests, I had visited their Japan office. At that time I was given a detailed explanation about their current situation from the woman top of the Japan office. And she had told that I would be expected to start working from April (in India) and suggested to me I come to the Japan office until the day comes.

But after that I was expected to start working from the 1st week of March officially. We didn't know if it's possible to get a work VISA so soon. Because the India VISA rules was changed dramatically only half a year ago.. unfortunately. But at the time I was expected to come in the 1st week of March anyway.

And I have one more thing to tell you.
It's 3 weeks to have kept me waiting for the first response. 3 weeks later I sent the follow-up letter to identify the status of my application, and then I got the first reply just after 7 hours. And that stormy days started..

This journey is like a roller coaster/switchback!! .. perhaps this is what I will experience on the land I love, which means this is MY choice.... No way !

Anyway, accordingly, I suppose that after a while they would expect me to come from the 1st week of April, not March. I hope that's all.

I was quite optimistic at the beginning of this situation, but gradually I am getting nervous.. so please tell me the conclusion of this story ASAP ! I do want to live and work for living in Mumbai! That's it. Ooof..

Last Friday my guitar teacher talked about the very famous sitar(सितार) player Ravi Shankar. He is Norah Jones' father. I didn't know that she is half Indian (and half American) ! Speaking of Norah Jones, my most favourite film is "MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS" directed by Kar Wai Wong, in which she plays the heroine as a first-time actor.

Arriving at home I found the name Ravi Shankar again in Miho-san's weblog entry of the day. She posts her entry very frequently. But the entry about Indian classical music is one of the day...

Synchronicity related to India makes me happier than usual, especially in this situation.

I am doing research for my college thesis, thanks for your excellent points, now I am acting on a sudden impulse.
